Don't mess with this man

It hasnt gone unnoticed that some legendary blues songs have crept into the SHM live set lately and they all have their own story. Taking inflation into account $700 back in the fifties was worth $16770 now, so no wonder Mr Waters was feeling confident when he wrote this. Hootchie Coochie Man - Muddy Waters performed live at the Engineers. enjoy SHM

SHM - Sherbet Mandao - Live CD available at gigs

This is the most genuine of Blues Rock, strictly in the raw.
A collection of tracks combining classic covers with expertly crafted original compositions. Captured entirely live at the best of South Wales venues, this recording is guaranteed free of technical interference or enhancement, relying on musicianship alone for it’s quality of sound.

Sherbet Mandao deliver with passion. A meld of beautifully expressive guitars; warm, sexy bass and soulful, edgy vocals over drums that carry you from the first beat to the last.

Perfect it isn’t but that’s what makes this so intimately rewarding. Wind up the volume, sit back, close your eyes and you’ll be there.

SHM - Bio Review

"This exciting band went down a storm"
"described as Peter Green meets SRV and the Allman Bros"
"Don't miss em" Blues Dragon club Jul 08. "you guys are great , pure and raw " "the word is "taste" and you have it" John - Connetticut

Sherbet Mandao, have taken the Bluesbreakers in their soul to evolve into one of the most exciting Rhythm & Blues bands to ever to emerge from South Wales.

With many years of experience behind them, they play for the love of live music with integrity and passion. Rumble in the Jungle of lovin

It seems that the identity of our new drummer now is "the secret". From time to time the beast in him is let loose and this is the result.
Hope you enjoy the chorus of angel like voices. I can assure you our backing vocals are not this good so it can only be the majority of the Engineers pub and if you listen carefully you might hear the landlord Dave, thank you for enjoying this with us.

Engineering some blues

We are indebted to the gentleman you see Mr Nick Broughton,. Nick kindly joined us last Friday at the Engineers. Indeed many may recognise him as the bass player with Jack the Biscuit. It was a great night, of course it was, its the Engineers. Great to see so many familiar faces having a great time. I don't know about you but I like to hear musicians being creative , in full flow. Given that Nick had never played this track before what a top job. It is one of our own songs and enjoy Nick in full free ride bass heaven ,cheers mate.
Take my Time.

Cheers SHM
